One of the most common gadget-like object which people are fond of today is called vape. A lot of people say that it is the substitute for cigarette and it is less harmful that it.
Nevertheless, what they do not know is that they could still be at risk with other deadly disease namely the “popcorn lung”.
A toxic chemical was found in these electronic cigarettes which were tested just recently according to some groups from Harvard who studied about it.
A chemical named Diacetyl, is used as a butter substitute in flavors such as Cotton Candy and Cupcake, has been associated to some diseases in term of the respiratory naming it as Bronchiolitis Obliterans.
Regardless of it being safe when eaten, it can be lethal when inhaled for a long period. This is in accordance to United States National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
The respiratory disease, Bronchiolitis Obliterans, is an irreversible condition because the tiny air sacs in the lungs and it becomes scarred. We can consider this issue as serious and we should not overlook this.
